Up North
In July 2007, Drew McIntosh, Aaron Bocanegra and Robert Lutener traveled for 25 days from Edmonton, AB to Inuvik, NWT to document the social and cultural impacts of economic and environmental change in northern communities.
7 and 7 is... Una Vez Por La Vida.
Edmonton indie rock band 7and7is are the first foreign rock band to tour the island of Cuba. With an invitation from the Cuban cultural authorities, good hopes, big dreams and a lot of luck, 7and7is made a broke ground in the name of rock and roll.
Solidarity Rock
Solidarity Rock is a movement of co-operation and Solidarity between Canadian and Cuban musicians, fans, and promoters. Through performances, merchandise, and other forms of fundraising, we are helping Cuban bands gain access to the instruments and audio recording equipment they need to record and document their own history, one that will prove to be an important stage of Cuba's story.
